突然的一个周末，可能是杭州龙井茶喝多了，异常兴奋。这辆freedom小车的设计，似乎正好代表我那天的心情。
也许是成熟的产品设计做的过多，想放纵一下而已。
抛开条条框框，5个小时后，有点像游了场泳。

原来做不同的设计也是休息。


The idea of Freedom comes from rickshaw, which was an important transportation vehicle about 200 years ago in China for rich people, during Qing dynasty. The person pulling the rickshaw was like tax driver today, waiting for business on the street. The gestures of the customer getting on broad and sitting on the rickshaw were very special and comfortable. The gesture of lying in the back of the cart was a symbol of wealthy at that time.


Physical Balance Theory is applied on Freedom. When staying still, the cart will remain vertically standing up, which saves a lot of space for parking. When it accelerates, the cart will graduate become horizontally balance due to the reaction force, which results in the reduction of resistance. The balance system of the cart is consisted by Counterweight of the head and Electronic gyroscope. The cart will be more horizontal as the acceleration growing. The angle of Backwards tells the strength of acceleration.


Battery supplies electricity. The maximum speed of the cart is 40km/h. Motor is applied to drive the cart, which is put on one side driving the cart by gear. As a result the central axis of the wheel is not necessary, which makes the wheel hollow. The hollow space of the wheel can be used as a storage space for luggage. The door for storage space is set on the roulette of the wheel, which looks like a hexagon camera shutter. Electronic button can control the door open and close.


Freedom targets young couples, so it has two seats. Small body and flexible movement enable the cart shuttling in the city. When many Freedoms parking together, they can fit with each other very well to save space thanks to the coincident of back surface and the surface of front cover.
